You should be fine with an Alabama Permit in Tn, OC or not. My son in law has oc'ed there with out problems but doesn't mean you won't have any. This is one of the things that hinder OC so much. People are scared of what the police might do. And... -
Alabama's license does nothing for OC. That is at least until the current bill becomes law and the legal determination is made (at which time we will have lost another right).

I thought the same thing. All the committee did was correct a few words, grammar and such. They did however put CC with a license back at sporting events. To me, its not enough. This bill will likely pass, but it gives away more than it protects.

I honestly have no idea why this went into committee - it seems to be the house version in all substantive respects. Based on that assessment, I assume it will pass.
