Here's an excellent gun rights treatise in video form.

I could never explain it any better than Ms. Huldah does in her video treatise found at the following link:

Thanks to Dan McCormack for sharing the link on the BamaCarry facebook page.

This message needs to be shared until it's as worn out as our Constitutions seem to be to our legislators, executives and judges, both federal and state.
“Our government is the potent, the omnipresent teacher. For good or for ill, it teaches the whole people by its example. Crime is contagious. If the government becomes a law-breaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy.” Brandeis,...

From Ms. Huldah's Blog:

Our Founding Principles in a Nutshell

In order to understand The Right of Nullification, one must also learn the Founding Principles set forth in The Declaration of Independence (2nd para). Then one can see that “when powers are assumed which have not been delegated, a nullification of the act” 1 is “the natural right, which all admit to be a remedy against insupportable oppression.” 2 These Principles are:

1. Rights come from God;

2. People create governments;

3. The purpose of government is to secure the rights God gave us; and

4. When a government We created seeks to take away our God given rights, We have the Right – We have the Duty – to alter, abolish, or throw off such government.

    I used to be one of the owners of Last Resort Guns. I parted company with them after I finished designing the indoor range that is now being built on County Line and Palmer.

    Welcome Davethescot! I met a couple guys who's histories have an uncanny similarity to your own. Perhaps you are actually one of those men. Are you associated with a firearms shop along Countyline road?

    You should be fine with an Alabama Permit in Tn, OC or not. My son in law has oc'ed there with out problems but doesn't mean you won't have any. This is one of the things that hinder OC so much. People are scared of what the police might do. And...

    Alabama's license does nothing for OC. That is at least until the current bill becomes law and the legal determination is made (at which time we will have lost another right).

    I know Tn is not a traditional open carry state and I also know they have reciprocity with Alabama for conceal carry. My question is, does anyone know if having an Alabama conceal carry would suffice to open carry in TN? My first thought is no, but...

    I ran into an old friend today I’ve not seen in probably 20-25 years. He’s 85 now. I met him at the Otasco store I used to work at in the early 70’s. It was on the corner where the Northport City Hall is located now. We sold everything from...
